Oh My, A (Quirky) Meme!

Alexah over at Learning to Step Lightly tagged me for the “Six Quirky Things MEME.” Oh meme is me! Here’s da rules:

1. Link to the person that tagged you. 2. Post the rules on your blog. 3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself. 4. 1. I sneeze lots. Because of this, I am probably one of the most “blessed” people on the planet.
2. I have 3 cats. Automatic quirky, right?
3. I’m (almost) famous in the wonky world of California water policy and politics.
4. I don’t like watermelon. It’s not that I think it’s bad, it’s just that I don’t really think it’s all that good and I’d really rather not eat it.
5. People think I’m really organized, yet I feel pretty scattered a lot of time. I’m often told, “you’re so organized”, to which I reply, “It’s all an illusion.” They think I’m joking, but I’m totally serious.
6. I worked on an organic farm during college. I was the designated farmer’s market girl, and I also planted, weeded, and harvested. Nothing like picking lettuce on a cold dewy morning, or stooping for hours to hand weed! We sold 99 cent lettuce, green onion, carrots, zucchini, and assorted herbs. At the end of the markets, I traded leftover goods with other vendors for homemade goat feta and zucchini pickles.
